Tisha B'Av Learning, Mindfulness, & Reading of Eichah/Lamentations IN PERSON AND ONLINE Monday, August 12th 8-9:30pm
The ongoing persecution of Jews across millennia has been commemorated every year on this one important day: the 9th of the month of Av, when the first and second Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed. In the light of October 7, we join again this year in remembering, mourning, and healing. ONEG B’YACHAD
Oneg b'Yachad is a delightful way to share community each Friday evening. Here is how it works:
August 9th - please bring a plated dessert (with serving utensil) August 16th - please bring a plated appetizer or dessert (with serving utensil)
It should be simple finger food
Please bring enough to serve at least 4-6 people.
Communal participation also means sharing in a simple cleanup: wiping down tables, a quick sweep of the social hall, and taking out trash. Let’s work together. Please contact Judith Wine: wine.judith@jcogs.organd let her know you'd like to help.
