ABOUT ADAR
I’m 13 years old and I go to Peoples Academy Middle Level in Morrisville, VT. I’m having my bar mitzvah this upcoming summer. I like so many things including basketball, soccer, music and so much more. I am also an entrepreneur that sells sushi and am starting an upcoming fruit ice cream business with my two younger brothers Yonah and Hersh. Stay tuned. My bar mitzvah is important to me because I get to learn a lot about the Jewish culture and the Torah, and I get to bring community together. As you probably know, I took a trip to New Zealand with my family for my Abba’s sabbatical where I learned a lot about independence, and learning and adapting to new cultures.
For my mitzvah project, I’m raising money for Beyond Sport, whose mission is to use sport to address social issues from around the globe, by taking 10,000 basketball shots over the next 50 days.I want to improve on my game while raising money for a great cause. Most of you know that basketball (and other sports) are so important to me and I would like to support this organization because it focuses on sport as a way to have a positive impact on individuals and communities that are all around the world. Please check it out and help me meet my goal!
For those joining us online, we invite you to connect at 9:45 am to schmooze it up before the ceremony. Register BELOW for the Zoom link to be sent to your email.
