Friday, February 2, 6:00pm - 7:15pm PM In Person and Online Join us for a Shabbat Service with Rabbinic Intern Emmanuel Cantor followed by a delicious POTLUCK ONEG.
Join Emmanuel Cantor, JCOGS Rabbinic Intern, as he leads from the pulpit of our neighbors at Beth Jacob Synagogue in Montpelier. This Shabbat we receive the Ten Commandments with three of last year’s Mitzvah students doing the reading! A famous midrash says that we were all at Sinai. What a special occasion to come together as a larger Jewish community to receive such important Torah. Followed by a lite kiddush sponsored by the Beth Jacob community.

We’re building a community ice sculpture in honor of our theme this year: ahavah/love. Join us for the build at 4pm or just come for the lighting ceremony and a family-friendly activity from 5 - 6 pm. Pizza and warm drinks will be served. Click here for instructions on how to make ice!
