Giant Heart Ice sculpture building Festival IN PERSON ONLY
Wednesday, February 14, 2024 • 5 Adar I 5784
4:00 PM - 6:00 PMJCOGSWe’re building a community ice sculpture in honor of our theme this year: ahavah/love. Join us for the build at 4pm or just come for the lighting ceremony and a family-friendly activity from 5 - 6 pm. Pizza and warm drinks will be served.
We need LOTS of empty drink cartons and clear plastic salad containers! We’d appreciate your CLEANED juice/broth/milk/wine cartons (any size) which can be dropped off empty at JCOGS, 1189 Cape Cod Rd, by the back kitchen door any time before Feb 7th.
To prepare cartons for delivery: open or cut off the top and rinse fully!
If you want to make ice blocks yourself, please only use food coloring, and mainly in the color red (clear and lightly colored blocks welcome as well). Have the cartons completely open or the top cut off, and have them fully frozen and dropped off from Feb 4 to Feb 7.
If you'd like to help with the pre-build on Feb 14th, please contact Beth at beth.liberman@jcogs.org.
