Mitzvah Garden
Mitzvah garden
The JCOGS Mitzvah Garden is flourishing!
The Green Team has envisioned this garden to:
- Demonstrate the benefits of Regenerative Agriculture as a way of reducing carbon emissions far better than any carbon sequestration technique conceived by industry
- Provide food for people that need access to nutrient-dense fresh vegetables
- Gift a smile to those going through a challenging moment (envision a surprise bouquet of marigolds left on your doorstep)
We’re excited to pull together a team of volunteers to help make the garden a success! People of all ages who are excited to share their gardening expertise and also those who want to learn and grow with the garden are welcome to join in. We’re looking for one-time or long-term volunteers who can help with the planning, planting, watering, harvesting and distribution of healthy, homegrown produce.
