With deep sadness, we inform you of the passing Tuesday, April 4, of Steve May, beloved spouse of Amy May and father of Gabe.

Steve was a deeply caring man. He showed this lovingkindess by serving on local selectboards and running for state office, all because he sought to better the world. He worked closely with those facing addiction as a social worker, devoting his life selflessly to those in great need, while also coping with his own physical health issues. Most of all, he expressed his love through his family. He adored his wife Amy, and took special pride in his son Gabe, whom he cherished. Taken too soon from his family, friends, and his JCOGS community, he leaves behind an everlasting legacy of care and lovingkindness.

The funeral will take place at JCOGS on Monday, April 10 at 10:30AM. Those who wish to join by Zoom may do so by registering here. Following the burial, a meal of consolation will be held back at JCOGS. Shiva visitations at the family home (59 Orchard Lane, Apt 2, Richmond, VT) will take place Monday, April 10, 6-8PM, with a service at 7:30PM.
