Shavuot on the Mountain IN PERSON
Sunday, June 1, 2025 • 5 Sivan 5785
10:00 AM - 2:00 PMMt. Mansfield Base CampClimbing to the Mountain Chapel at Stowe Resort has become a tradition for many of us who have participated in Shavuot on the Mountain for the last 10 years. This event offers connection to self, community, ancestry, earth, and spirituality and has something for everyone from adults to toddlers and everyone in between.
The story of Shavuot shares that Moses climbed Mt. Sinai to receive the ten commandments, and the Israelite people moved from freedom to revelation. Years later the Children of Israel made pilgrimage to Jerusalem to offer their first fruits at the Holy Temple. We emulate these stories by making our way up Mt. Mansfield to the Interfaith Chapel with the first fruits of Vermont, to enjoy the natural world, sing, praise, and be together in community.
For those who don’t want to hike, there will be access to the chapel through the Toll road.
Join us for a morning filled with revelation and fun on the mountain. For further details and to register, click here.
