Join us for a special Shabbat Shira Kabbalat Shabbat featuring the music from this new release.  Please register below for Zoom details. *Please note the special time this week (7pm EST, 6pm CST)

Arielle Lekach-Rosenberg moved to Minneapolis in 2017 to join the rabbi team of Shir Tikvah, a vibrant, progressive synagogue in South Minneapolis.  Her work is focused on the intersection of music, prayer and activism.  She was ordained by the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College and spent her final two years of rabbinical school working as a full-time rabbinic fellow at B’nai Jeshurun in New York City.  Arielle is a classically trained singer, an accordion aficionado, and a lover of piyutim. She performs with the ensemble Sefarad-Yerushalayim-New York and hosts regular piyut song circles in her living room.  She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Noam, and daughter, Hallel.

Hailing from the Great North White of Montreal, Rabbi David Fainsilber currently lives with his wife Alison and their three young children in Morrisville, Vermont.  Rabbi David is known to bring great passion to creating musical, participatory prayer experiences that touch the soul; building community by opening doors for unaffiliated seekers and experienced practitioners alike; deepening ancient Jewish wisdom by renewing its application to our 21st century lives; and rallying people to act for causes that impact real people and communities.  Current rabbi of the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe, Rabbi David is a Hebrew College Rabbinical School alum; a musician and writer; and former interfaith CIRCLE fellow, AJWS Kol Tzedek Fellow, and rabbinic intern for MIT and Tufts Hillels. He is also more than slightly obsessed with Crossfit; recently has got into chopping wood; and loves wrestling with his kids.

Micah Shapiro is a rabbi, singer/songwriter and arranger who writes original music to the ancient Hebrew Psalms and poems. He is ordained from The Rabbinical School of Hebrew College and has trained both musically and spiritually with Nava Tehila in Jerusalem and The Rising Song Institute in Philadelphia. He is a campus rabbi and innovation fellow at The University of Pennsylvania Hillel and lives with his partner Aaren Alpert in West Philadelphia.
