Musicians, singers, service leaders, and all members excited for the High Holy Days are invited to join Rabbi David for all or any part of this songfest/rehearsal and dinner. We will sing our favorite High Holy Day melodies and explore new ones together. Dinner around 7:30pm provided. Please RSVP to ensure enough food. -

6:30 p.m. Marom, the JCOGS Band brings in the new year as we reconnect with community. 7:00 p.m. Services include poignant storytelling, music, and prayer. 8:15 p.m. The Nosh provides a dessert oneg, the sweetest way to start your new year. -

9:30 a.m. The Nosh is open for schmoozing and noshing. 10:00 a.m. Services include music, prayer, powerful words of Torah, the shofar’s call, and a community Torah reading. 10:30-11:15 a.m. Parents, young children, youth, birth to 10 years old, Rosh Hashanah story time and activities on the JCOGS lower level. IN PERSON ONLY 1:00 p.m. Tashlich: cast away the unwanted and seek the better parts of self by the river. -

IN PERSON ONLY 12:45 p.m. Yizkor Memorial Service: Remembering those beloved who have passed away. 1:30 p.m. Learning session with Rabbi David 2:30 p.m. Walk together on the rec path. 3:30 p.m. Yoga for Yom Kippur: Lite stretching for body and soul. -

4:30 p.m. Minchah Afternoon Services, with youth retelling the dramatic story of Jonah and the whale. 5:45 p.m. Ne’ilah Service: The gates close with these final, intimate prayers. Come hear the final shofar blast. Havdalah at 7:11 p.m. to break-the-fast. -

Join us at Rabbi David and Alison's home for a short service and some brief reflections on these Days of Awe/Yamim Noraim, followed by a vegetarian/pescetarian potluck (no peanuts or lentils, please). For all-ages. RSVP for the Zoom link or for directions. Please note: there will be no services at the JCOGS building.
