As we begin this year of 5786, we want to wish you and your family the sweetest new year, wherever and however you are celebrating.
The Vermont leaves begin to turn and the seasons awaken in us the opportunity for change and growth. May this new year bring with it winds of change—individually and collectively—for a more hopeful, peaceful, just world. In the picking of apples, the dipping with honey, the cider’s press, and more—may this season be one of endlessly sweet possibilities. And may JCOGS and each one of us continue to strive to creatively bring that sweetness to all.
We very much look forward to being with many of you at JCOGS, whether in person or on Zoom.
From our family to you and yours, shana tova u'metukah, a very sweet, happy, and healthy new year to all of you! May it be a year of blessing, healing, renewal, joy and care for each other and our world.
Rabbi David, Alison, Adar, Yonah, and Hersh
