Tu BiShvat Ice Sculpture Building Festival IN PERSON ONLY TODAY! Wednesday, February 12, 4-6pm Olam Chesed students will build a community ice sculpture of a kiddush cup in honor of our theme this year: kedushah/holiness. Join us for the lighting ceremony and a family-friendly seder from 5 - 6 pm. Pizza and warm drinks will be served. Adult volunteers needed to help start the building earlier. Many Friday nights JCOGS Marom band member, Sara Lourie, skis from her home in Jeffersonville on the other side of the Notch to the Mountain Road shuttle bus, which drops Sara off near our building. After oneg, headlight strapped on, Sarah takes a reverse trip home. Impressive and inspiring!
Stacey Burnstein, Anna Westervelt, Steve Levine, and Judith Wine make meals for people experiencing homelessness at Good Samaritan Haven and Lamoille Community House. Meals are prepared twice a month at JCOGS. Contact stacyeveburnstein@gmail.com to join an upcoming cooking party.
