HHD Rehearsal/Songfest & Dinner Wednesday, September 25, 6:00pm - 9:00pm at JCOGS Musicians, singers, service leaders, and any members excited for the High Holy Days are invited to join Rabbi David for all or any part of this rehearsal/songfest and dinner. Rosh Hashanah program with holiday songs/prayers, discussion, and activities. With Beth on the JCOGS lower level*. Shabbat Shuvah short service & potluck @ Rabbi David and Alison's home Friday, October 4, 2024 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM In Person and Online Join us at Rabbi David and Alison's home for a short service, including to say the Mourner's Kaddish, and some brief reflections on these Days of Awe/Yamim Noraim, followed by a vegetarian/pescetarian potluck (no peanuts or lentils, please). Yom Kippur Afternoon In Person and Online 1:30pm: Learning session with Rabbi David 2:30pm: Walk together on the rec path. 3:30pm: Yoga for Yom Kippur: Lite stretching for body and soul. 4:30pm: Minchah Afternoon Services, with youth retelling the dramatic story of Jonah and the whale. 5:30pm: Ne’ilah Service: The gates close with these final, intimate prayers.
