Gleaning with Salvation Farms: Let’s get our hands dirty for a worthy cause! Gleaning, the act of collecting leftover crops from farmers' fields for the poor, is a Jewish value, rooted in Torah. The Story of Annette Zelman: The Stowe Jewish Film festival has one more treat this fall Please come see Annette Zelman on Oct 19 at 7 PM at the Savoy Theater in Montpelier and support the Savoy flood relief by purchasing tickets to the Prize Draw. The live drawing will be held at the theater following the film. You do not need to be there to claim your prize from among fabulous offerings. Tickets are on sale on the JCOGS website, where you can view the prize listing as well. The film is a beautiful and moving love story. Raise the Roof to End Homelessness: Join the Tikkun Olam Committee on Saturday October 21st for an evening of music, food, and community to benefit the Lamoille Community House for their Raise the Roof event. There will be music, food, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle!
