Addressing Poverty in Lamoille: An Interfaith Teach In & Fundraiser: Lamoille faith communities come together in direct action against economic injustice in a night of learning and giving. All donations go to support the Interfaith Benevolence Fund, a new partnership with United Way of Lamoille County that will support community members who are experiencing severe economic hardship. Come hear the stories of those directly impacted, alongside experts, clergy, and community members as we work together towards a society that provides for everyone’s basic needs and respects the dignity of all. Light refreshments to follow the program.

Pride Shabbat: In celebration of Pride month, JCOGS is hosting a special Pride Shabbat on Friday evening June 16th at 6:00 pm with a guest speaker from Keshet. Stories from Israel: Pictures and Videos from the Holyland: A rabbi, priest, and minister walk into a hotel... in Israel... aka The Holy Land. The greater community is invited to see pictures and videos and hear moving stories from the recent greater Stowe interfaith trip. Rabbi David Fainsilber, Father Rick Swanson, and Pastor Dan Haugh (pictured here in the ancient Roman city of Caesarea) led 40 participants from their respective congregations of the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe, St. John's in the Mountains Episcopal Church, and Stowe Community Church around Israel in a once-in-a-lifetime tour that will not easily be forgotten. On this longest day of the year, hear uplifting light-filled stories that will surely bring a smile. Dessert will be served. - Wednesday, June 21 6:30pm-8:00pm
