
Proud Legacy, Powerful Future: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall

11:30 AM - 1:00 PMBurlington, VTSunday, Sept 8th Rabbi David & JCOGS members and friends will be marching in the Pride Parade with Temple Sinai. Our parade begins at the south end of Church Street and ends at Battery Park where the festival is held*. We encourage you to dress in colorful clothing. Children are welcome! This is a family friendly event. If you can provide rides for others, please contact Shoshana @ 802.585.0674 The Pride Parade is a beloved institution here in Vermont and throughout the world. It began as an anniversary celebration of the Stonewall Riots but has evolved over time to encompass the many LGBTQ heroes, struggles, and victories since. *Parade line up is at 11:30 a.m. at the Hood Plant Parking lot (on King St between Church St and S. Winooski). The parade leaves the staging area 12:30 and moves to the top of Church St, left on Pearl St to Battery Park for Festivities.
