Security for b'nai mitzvah

The JCOGS doors are normally kept locked.  However, during a simcha such as a  mitzvah ceremony, this can be difficult to manage. We offer several security options that families can consider to ensure safety both before and after the  mitzvah ceremony.

Families can choose to:

  • keep the doors unlocked as guests arrive and then lock the doors after the service begins, asking the Mitzvah family buddy to allow in latecomers.
  • hire an off-duty Stowe police officer to be outside during the entire event.

Please communicate your preference for a security plan to the mitzvah coordinator.
