Dear JCOGS family,

I am so excited to send our congregation into the new year with some NEW music. Titled Sanctuary Sessions, these eight prayerful tracks were recorded live over one day, right in the holy of holies, our JCOGS sanctuary.

Rabbi Ari Isenberg, a phenomenal singer, spiritual leader in Westchester, NY, and old friend of mine from Montreal came up to Stowe early in August to record these pieces.  With some contemporary Jewish music and some classics newly arranged, I think you’re going to like them.

I want to thank some of our JCOGS musicians featured on these pieces: David Goodman (clarinet), Deborah Black (cello), Dov Schiller (percussion), Jacob Schiller (piano, accordion), and Jeremy Hill (double bass).
