We hope that your High Holidays and start to Sukkot have been abundant in joy and blessings.
Join us alongside the wider community today, October 8 at 4:15 - 7:15pm in Rabbi David and Alison’s home sukkah! Feel free to bring family and friends along and a vegetarian side dish to share. Please RSVP to Alison Link: alisonlink@gmail.com for directions.
Alongside enjoying the sukkah and noshing, there will also be activities for the kids! We will be making decorations to fulfill hiddur mitzvah, and we will welcome the ushpuzin/ushpizot into the space.
Sukkot invites us to reflect on what it means to live in fragile, temporary homes — to journey, to hope, find joy and to depend on the compassion of others. Immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees live this reality. If you are inspired and able, please consider making a monetary donation in person at our event or online to the: Vermont Immigration Legal Defense Fund.
We look forward to seeing you!
