JCOGS Joins the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition!
JCOGS has joined the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition, a network of Jewish organizations committed to urgent climate action. As part of this commitment, JCOGS will develop and advance a Climate Action Plan over the next year. If you are interested in participating in this effort in any way, big or small, email jcogs@jcogs.org. We welcome involvement from both youth and adults.
Join us at JCOGS as we participate in a special worldwide Refugee Shabbat, a program of HIAS, (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society). Panelists representing a number of organizations serving immigrants will share their insights, challenges and the vital work being done in Vermont and beyond. Click for panelist bios. Together with HIAS and communities nationwide, we will reflect, learn, and recommit to this essential work.
