TONIGHT Screening of the U.S. And The Holocaust and Q and A session with Museum Expert Dr. Rebecca Erbelding December 4, 6pm at the Stowe Library
Watch a shortened version of the film followed by a Zoom Q and A with Dr. Erbelding, who served as a historical advisor and on-camera expert for the film. Dr. Erbelding is an educator, curator, and archivist at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
"Vermont For The Vermonters": The History of Eugenics in the Green Mountain State- Author Talk by Mercedes De Guardiola December 7, 6pm at the Stowe Library
De Guardiola will discuss the history of eugenics in Vermont and how the U.S. eugenics movement and Nazi racism were drawn from the same pseudoscientific roots. Copies of the book are available at the library.
