EDUCATION
K&G Seven young families planted a garden of todah (gratitude) at the final Kinderlach & Gesher Shabbat program on May 18th. We danced with the Torah and learned that gadol (like on the dreidel) means we're growing. And then we planted potatoes which will become latkes for Hanukkah!
Ateed The call is out! The JCOGS board is looking for the next youth intern. Bring your voice to the board and help shape the future at JCOGS. Rising 9th and 10th graders are welcome to apply. Reach out to Beth atbeth.liberman@jcogs.orgfor more information.
Annual BBQ Sunday, June 23 5:00-7:00pm (please click on event name to register)

Thank you to our supporters and volunteers for 7 years of JCOGS’s Stowe Jewish Film Festival (SJFF). We are taking a hiatus this summer as we seek volunteers to reconstitute an SJFF Committee for summer 2025. The SJFF is a JCOGS institution enjoyed by our members and the greater Stowe community. If you are passionate about the arts and Jewish education, please contact Cyndy Wyatt, President, at cyndy.wyatt@jcogs.org.
COMMUNITY
WHAT GOES TOGETHER LIKE CREAM CHEESE AND LOX? Jews and ukuleles! Do you have a ukulele, a basic knowledge of chords and strumming, and want to connect with others who like to play? We are forming a new ukulele group at JCOGS, the JCOGS Jewkuleles. We will gather to play Hebrew melodies and other inspirational songs for musical Shabbat services and to experience the joy of making music! Open to all ages. For more information, please contact Rachel at rachelmiriamfunk@gmail.com.
