"On Thursday January 20th, approximately 50 people gathered in the frigid weather, to bring attention to the current state of homelessness in our community. Today there are 61 adults and 29 children experiencing homelessness in Lamoille County.

What can you do to help this challenging issue? The Housing Task Force is organizing a donation drive for the Lamoille Community House. The Lamoille Community House provides shelter for the homeless. Please consider contributing by bringing these items to JCOGS. There will be a big box outside the front door for you to deposit these items. The drive will run for two weeks between Monday January 31-February 14th. All items must be new and still in its original packaging.
