We are thrilled to announce a fabulous line-up of auction items for our BBQ fundraiser next Sunday August, 22. If you are not able to attend the BBQ, and would like to bid, we are able to offer absentee bidding. Absentee bidding allows you to put in a bid on any item(s) that you are interested in and we will add your name to the bidding sheet at the event. If it is an item that you really want, we suggest bidding high to give you the best shot at winning it. All absentee bids should be sent to France Pepper (francepepper@hotmail.com) by Friday, August 20th at 5pm.
Please note that we are encouraging cash and check payments at the BBQ fundraiser. Credit card payments will be charged an additional 3% processing fee.
There is so much happening during our BBQ this year. On Sunday, August 22 from 5-7 , be prepared to experience amazing food to nosh on, Ron the Pirate to laugh with, schmoozing, bidding battles, revealing the Mitzvah Mosaic, raffle items, and more! Register here.
Other IMPORTANT information:
We need volunteers. To keep JCOGS thriving, I am asking you to step up and give your time to a place that is built on community and volunteerism. A sign up list will be available at the BBQ on Sunday.
With the uptick in Covid cases, JCOGS is being very vigilant in keeping our community safe. We require everyone to mask indoors and outdoors. While noshing, we ask that you keep a safe distance. Thank you for your understanding.
There is a transition of responsibilities occuring within our staff, and we ask for your patience in regards to membership and finances. We are working hard to process everything in a timely manner.
If you know someone who would like to work for JCOGS, we are hiring for an assistant position to support Rabbi David. Contact jcogs@jcogs.org for more information.
