Last month, I asked you to join me in donating to JCOGS to close out 2020 together. Well, you did it, for sure.
Your response was nothing short of amazing. When all was totaled, we received 90 donations totaling $13,172. That translates to over 40% of our membership and 100% of our board. That’s absolutely outstanding.
Rabbi David made an appeal asking you to donate in appreciation of my leadership, and your response is a lovely compliment. However, we know that the power of JCOGS comes not from one or two people but from community involvement: our extraordinary board, our fantastic committee chairs, our indefatigable volunteers, and every one of you.
If you are a regular donor, thank you for your continued support and for making one more donation. If — like so many folks — this was your first donation to JCOGS, I hope it will not be your last. Please let this be the start of a lasting commitment to support JCOGS. When you look back in 2030, I hope you’ll see a decade of yearly donations behind you.
