Quite soon, I will be stepping down as your JCOGS president. I have already served more than the two years our bylaws set out for a presidency, and the time has come for fresh leadership. Our board is strong, talented, and committed, and we are prepared with an outstanding successor president. I cannot speak for the board before there is an official vote, but suffice it to say we’re going to be in excellent hands.
It has been an incredible honor to be your president, and I am grateful you have given me the opportunity to serve our community. My family has thrived at JCOGS, and we look forward to remaining active for years to come. As a thank you to JCOGS for all you have given us, we are offering a gift to mark the end of my time as president.
