Mitzvah blog

Hi! My name is Eliana Kalichstein.  I have moved around a lot in the past couple years. I currently live in Vermont, but I am in the process of moving to New York City. I am in 7th grade and I go to Trinity School in Manhattan, New York. I normally do gymnastics, but it’s on hold right now because of Covid. I love to play soccer and ski as well. I am working with an organization that helps immigrants into the U.S. for my mitzvah project. I am very interested in the subject of immigration and it also connects to my Torah portion. The organization is called the American Immigration Council. They not only help immigrants over the border, but they also help people understand that immigration can be beneficial to our population.
