      The agenda for the meeting is as follows: 10:00 –– Welcome and call to order 10:05 –– Rabbinic address 10:15 –– Approval of minutes of June 24, 2018 meeting 10:15 –– Presentation of 2019-20 operating budget 10:30 –– Presentation of five-year strategic plan 10:45 –– Other business, if any Followed by a potluck luncheon. Please join us for our ALICE training at 11:30. ALICE stands for Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate, and it is meant to prepare groups of people for emergency situations. This ALICE training is not designed for children.

      The Stowe Police Department will conduct an ALICE training at JCOGS directly after the annual meeting. ALICE stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate. Public schools across the country have been engaging in ALICE training to prepare students and teachers for active crises. This is a site-specific training to prepare adults for emergency situations, and JCOGS adults who would like to attend this training should email jcogs@jcogs.org.

      Hebrew Classes

      Want to improve your Hebrew? An adult Ed Hebrew class will be meeting on Mondays from 5-6 pm beginning on July 1. We will focus on improving reading skills and comprehension with some conversational Hebrew. Tuition will be a sliding scale for JCOGS members of $18-$36 and $54 for non-members.
