Vermont teen Seder: recognizing modern day slavery
Saturday, March 13, 2021 • 29 Adar 5781
6:00 PM - 7:30 PMJewish youth in grades 7-12 from across VT and NH gather for an online interactive Seder to revisit our ancient story of freedom from bondage while learning about issues of modern day slavery. The Seder's four virtual cups will help us to think critically about who makes our food and clothes, how to increase our awareness of modern day slavery, what we can do to make a difference, and how our actions create a future of change and hope. In partnership with JCVT, Ohavi Zedek, JCOGS, and Kol Ha’Emek: the Upper Valley Jewish Community.
Please register before March 7th in order to receive the materials package.
We will send you an email with the Zoom link a few days before the seder and a kit including free trade chocolate, charoset making supplies, a special modern slavery haggadah, and more.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
