Stowe Jewish Film Festival presents: A virtual film festival event
Thursday, April 2, 2020 • 8 Nisan 5780
7:00 PM - 8:00 PMJoin via zoom: https://zoom.us/j/4118824912The Stowe Jewish Film Festival is delighted to present a fun way to pass some time in your home AND get ready for Passover at the same time. Join us for a lively discussion about the film "Streit's: Matzoh and the American Dream". First, watch the film from the comfort of your living room, and then join us via zoom this Thursday at 7 pm for a live discussion about Passover…your memories of past Seders, how this one will be different (as it will surely be!), and of course, your thoughts about the film.
HOW? IT’S EASY!
You can view the film in different ways:
Go to chaiflicks.com and sign up for their FREE 30 day trial (note: this is a great new streaming service for Jewish films being launched by Menemsha Films, the distributor of many of the films that the SJFF has shown over the past 4 years); after signing up, select the Streit's film and enjoy!
If you have Amazon Prime, the film is available there at this time for a nominal $0.99 cent fee (note: this may change because of the launch of Chaiflicks).
We are hoping that if this virtual film festival event is successful, we can continue to offer films and discussions to our community during this time. The SJFF committee wishes all of you a healthy Passover.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
