Please join JCOGS on Sunday, March 16 for a Zoom presentation by Roots/Judur/Shorashim, a joint Israeli-Palestinian grassroots initiative for understanding, non-violence and transformation. Roots challenges the assumptions the
two communities hold about each other and represents a unique network of Israelis and
Palestinians who have come to see each other as partners in the work to make changes to end the conflict.

"Understanding Roots," is a presentation given by a pair of Roots leaders - one Israeli and one Palestinian - who tell their personal stories and offer inspiring accounts of inner transformation as a result of face-to-face contact with the other side.
Through dialogue, education, and community-building activities, Roots aims to break down barriers of fear and mistrust, creating a foundation for a just and lasting peace. We hope that this presentation brings our communities together in the spirit of understanding and peace. Roots envisions a social and political reality that is founded on dignity, trust, and mutual recognition and respect for both peoples' historic belonging to the entire Land.
