Hanukkah Musical Shabbat to honor those on the front lines of the pandemic IN PERSON + ONLINE

Friday, December 3, 2021 29 Kislev 5782

6:00 PM - 7:00 PMJCOGS + ZOOM

Join us for the spirit of Shabbat in our sanctuary and social hall as we honor and celebrate first responders, medical and mental health professionals, educators, and all those on the front lines of this pandemic.  Help us light the Hanukkah lights for these lights in our society!  As the effects of the pandemic continue on, let's give them some love and support for all they have done for us.  Special blessings will be bestowed on those who have sacrificed their lives and their family, and those who continue to support us.  Stay afterward for the delicious oneg in their honor.  We thank the Chesed committee for sponsoring the oneg tonight.

We will be sitting safe distances from each other.  Those eligible for the vaccine should be fully vaccinated or COVID tested within 72 hours.  Children are welcome.  All guests of JCOGS who attend indoor services will be required to wear a mask at all times.   We ask that parents/caregivers assist their children to keep their masks on .  Our oneg continues, with a lite nosh outdoors!  All  indoor eating is suspended for now.  If anyone in your household is not feeling well or currently getting tested because of symptoms or suspected exposure to COVID-19, please join services online only.  We are so thankful for a community that is committed to keeping each other safe.
