Green Burial Cemetery Shabbat + Sponsored oneg
Friday, August 2, 2019 • 1 Av 5779
6:00 PM - 8:00 PMJCOGSGREEN BURIAL VERMONT is coming to JCOGS Friday, August 2nd.
We are very fortunate to have our own cemetery, Darchei Shalom, to provide a final resting place and to honor and remember our loved ones.
To serve our diverse membership, Darchei Shalom has two sections. The Emet section is very traditionally Jewish while the Chesed section is open to cremations as well as non-Jewish spouses. The JCOGS Cemetery Committee has been considering adding a third section for Green Burials.
Please come and learn what Green Burials are all about and join in a discussion led by Green Burial Vermont. Your input and thoughts are very important to help the committee continue in our work to provide the end of life options that our community wants.
For more information on Green Burials, go to greenburialvermont.org.
Darchei Shalom Cemetery is also open to serve the general public with Jewish affiliations.
