A private funeral will take place on Monday, June 29, at 3 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Stowe.

Members are invited to show their support and comfort of the family by lining the cemetery driveway with cars. Please stay inside your car or touching your car at all times. Carol was a pioneer community builder, whether as a famous restaurateur in Stowe or as a founding member of JCOGS. Her perspective on life was measured by her abundant goodness and kindness, and her straightforward attitude. She reluctantly left her beloved place of Stowe two years ago, yet was filled with gratitude for being so well taken care of by her family during those years. She will be greatly missed by her family, her legacy living on in the family she built up. And, too, in the legacy she has left behind in our living JCOGS community.
