Community Torah Service with Siddur Lev Shalem ONLINE ONLY
Saturday, January 15, 2022 • 13 Sh'vat 5782
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMJoin us for online today for our monthly Shabbat morning of community Torah reading, prayer and meditation, as we try out a new prayer book. Rabbi David and your JCOGS ritual team are recommending moving to “Siddur Lev Shalem” for our Shabbat services. Our congregation has enjoyed the prayer book “Lev Shalem’s Mahzor” on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for many years already. Aside from the Hebrew text and translations, this prayer book offers commentary on the texts as well as readings and meditations (both from classical sources and new writings).
After these services, we will be seeking your comments through a brief online survey as the congregation considers bringing this new prayerbook into our community. So, please plan to join us to try something new.
