10:00 AM - 11:00 AMJCOGSDear JCOGS Member:
You are cordially invited to attend and participate in the Annual Meeting of the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe in our Community Center on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Coffee will be available at 9:30 a.m. and the business meeting will start at 10:00 a.m.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
10:00 –– Welcome and call to order
10:05 –– Rabbinic address
10:15 –– Approval of minutes of June 24, 2018 meeting
10:15 –– Presentation of 2019-20 operating budget
10:30 –– Presentation of five-year strategic plan
10:45 –– Other business, if any
After the meeting, we will have a short potluck luncheon, followed by an important training to prepare us for the unlikely possibility that we could have a situation like those in Pittsburgh and Poway. Please join us for our ALICE training at 11:30. ALICE stands for Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate, and it is meant to prepare groups of people for emergency situations. This ALICE training is not designed for children.
We encourage you to review the annual report which contains the proposed 2019-2020 operating budget, a letter from our finance committee, the strategic plan, information about what our committees have done over the past year, and words from our Rabbi David Fainsilber. You will note that we have not listed member names in the annual report so as to protect data security.
We welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions at the meeting. Please join us as we keep the pathways of communication and the voice of our community strong. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, June 23.
Sincerely,
The Executive Committee
Emily Rosenbaum, Lynne Gedanken, Ron Feinstein, Rabbi David Fainsilber
