 All are welcome to join in a Special Musical Shabbat featuring the sweet sounds of Rabbi Jessica Kate Meyer, Rabbi Micah Shapiro, and Rabbi Arielle Lekach-Rosenberg.

  Rabbi Jessica is a prayer leader, storyteller, vocalist, and rabbi ordained at Hebrew College in 2014. After 10 years of pulpit experience in San Francisco and New York, she returned to Hebrew College as Rosh Tefillah and Artist-in-Residence. She has appeared in film, theater, and television projects in Europe and the United States, most notably, as a principal role in the Oscar-winning film, The Pianist.

 

 

Rabbi Micah is a prayer leader, composer, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and band leader who enriches Jewish communities across the country with his distinct blend of musical and spiritual leadership. Ordained at Hebrew College in 2017, Rabbi Michah is the founder of Nariya -The Shabbat Sing Out in Boston, as well as the new Nariya Cleveland. He recently released his full length album, Zeh Ha-Sha’ar.

 

 

 

Rabbi Arielle serves as the lead rabbi of Shir Tikvah, a justice-seeking, song-filled congregation in South Minneapolis. Ordained at Hebrew College in 2017, Rabbi Arielle is a former B’nai Jeshurun Marshall T. Meyer Rabbinical Fellow, a Rising Song Fellow and a Clergy Leadership

    Musical Shabbat with special Elul offerings from Barbara Segal - IN PERSON + ONLINE

    Friday, Sep 13th 6:00p to 8:00p
    We enter Elul, the month before Rosh Hashanah, against the backdrop of continued conflict in the Middle East and increasing divisiveness domestically and globally. With all that is broken in our world, how can we maintain our optimism and energy for tikkun olam, repairing the world? We do it by reminding ourselves of the love that surrounds us. Join us Friday evenings during Elul for perspectives on love inspired by the Ahavat Olam prayer about G-d’s everlasting love for the Jewish people.
