Marom Band Purim Musical Shabbat + The Bodacious Brass Balagan Band + Oneg Friday, March 6, 6-8pm Join us for an epic night of Purim pandemonium with the bodacious band Brass Balagan. Parades, crazy hats and costumes, schpiel play, drinks, a bit of prayer, and reading from the new JCOGS holy scroll Megillah. THE party to end all parties.
Purim Tikkun Olam: Fulfilling the Mitzvot of PuRiM In addition to putting on a Purim spiel, youth & teens will help create Mishloach Manot, special gifts, for Lamoille Community House and JCOGS Mi Shebeirach in need of healing recipients. Bring Donations to our PuRiM Party to help us fill Mishloach Manot: Apples, oranges, grapes, dried fruit, peanut-free nut mixes, cheese/crackers, cocoa, tea, popcorn, reusable baggies. Drop off before or at the Purim service on March 6. Matanot L’Evyonim: Support neighbors with these gifts for those in need, locally and nationally. National: Rabbi David’s friend in Minneapolis, Rabbi Arielle Lekach-Rosenberg, invites contributions to the Yesod Fund to address the housing crisis there.
