The Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition (GSIC), is honored to welcome Kiah Morris as the keynote speaker for our Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration.  Kiah Morris is Executive Director of the Vermont Coalition on Ethic and Social Equity in Schools.  She specializes in Project Management Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consulting. Kiah is also an author, advocate, educator, and performance artist.  Formerly the only black woman legislator in Vermont, (D-Bennington), Kiah Morris was a victim of racial harassment and the target of online racial slurs and threats to her safety.  She resigned from elected office.
